nlnotes.exe is the client...

Hi:yes,i've installed domino administrator,but when i search nlnotes in my data directory,i found there are two same things,one is in domino,the other is in notes,what's the different?does nlnotes.ext,notes.exe the same thing?the problem the subject's public...how to fix it?i'm lost at a sea,much appreciated for any help..
